Forum open for Admins and co-Admins

Forums are now open to Administrators and co-Administrators to log on and check settings around.

There are still a few pending issues to be dealt with, this is causing a delay in the public opening up of the forums.

We are planning to open the forums on Saturday or Sunday at the most.
We will be sending mail to users after forums are open to all users.

Date bug fixed

The bug which we encountered with the dates has been fixed successfully.

We are currently making a final test in the interface to check if still there any bugs that are to be found.

Few bugs noted

We have noted few bugs after the server migration, we are in the process of trying to fix them.
These bugs are very minor related to date-settings.

Optimization under way

We are currently optimizing the scripts for the best performance.
What this does is : It will increase forum loading speed and decrease the loads.
Which would help every one in a great fashion.

We are planning to go online on or before Friday with all the optimizations been done & double checked along with the other tasks.

We might be sending Testing Mails to few accounts, so kindly excuse us - as we are testing Mail Delivery System.

Work Still On

We are still working on with certain processes.

We want to fix up all the issues, before we open the forums for everyone. We don't want to close the forums now and again to fix issues.

PixTreat has been restored

As most of you are aware of the downtime of PixTreat since 22nd January 2011, its no longer a wait.

We were able to restore the data on a new server after the server crash mess we had with earlier host.

We have lost 4 days data ranging from 18th January 2011 to 22nd January 2011.

You can visit www.pixtreat.com now and start uploading your content :)
We are making daily backups now to prevent further data loss :)

Database fixed

We have fixed the database.

Now, forums offline message could be noted, that's an indication of our fix.

We are still working on few issues, will keep u updated :)

DNS is up

DNS is up and ready.

You might have noted forums giving database error if you tried to access any page of the forums. That's a confirmation of our server migration :p


We are currently fixing some database related tasks and certain permissions for the forums.

DNS Set

DNS has been set up. We have completed moving files in the meanwhile.

Once, DNS is up and ready - we will cross check with the settings and once we confirm everything is working good, we will open up the forums.

BestForumz is Migrating Servers

Dear friends,

As we are migrating servers at the moment, we had decided to take down the forums to prevent data loss.

We have added higher RAM, Space and bandwidth in our new server to accommodate our larger needs.

We expect to be back with in a few days time.

We do apologize for the downtime, but this is mandatory as we are intending to fix all the issues and have ourselves ready for the best in future.

Once again thanks for the wait, we certainly hope this is one of the last server migrations we might have to consider in the near future :)
